Roku gin activations provide ‘Omotenashi’ in key travel retail locations
A series of activations have launched to promote Beam Suntory’s Roku gin in travel retail. Working with the existing visual brand identity, we designed activation spaces that included tasting bars, a tasting counter, event spaces, destination bars and pillar activations.
To increase engagement and help passengers to understand Roku’s unique botanicals, we designed a new sensorial brand experience kit. The activations will help to communicate ‘Omotenashi’; Japanese hospitality at the heart of the Roku drinks experience. Roku means 6 and in addition to the typical botanicals used in gin, it has 6 unique Japanese botanicals including sakura flower and sakura leaf. The activations are running in duty free airport locations including Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Madrid T4, London Heathrow & Gatwick South, from 1st May through to the end of July.
