New TFWA Asia Pacific stand design for International Beverage
Fieldwork has designed a new stand for International Beverage at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition. The brief was to showcase the Old Pulteney and Balblair brands and to provide visibility for the brand portfolio.
For Old Pulteney, the showcase is an echo of the brand’s retail installations for the travel retail channel with the core brand image depicting the tempestuous seas around Wick. We were familiar with Old Pulteney as we designed the group stand at the TFWA Cannes show 2018.
The showcase for Balblair reflects the brand’s primary colour palette. The decorative gold pattern that has been overlaid on the image of the distillery is a repeat of the Balblair brand icon. It takes its inspiration from the Pictish Z-Rod symbol that can be found on the ancient Clach Biorach standing stone. A lightbox provides glorification for the other brands in the portfolio.
