Gonzalaz Byass upscale their stand for the TFWA Cannes exhibition
The brief from new client Gonzalez Byass was to create a premium design for its exhibition stand at the TFWA Cannes show. The objective was to promote three of its key brands, Tio Pepe, The London No1 Gin and Beronia.
We created 3 eye-catching showcases for each of the brands. For Tio Pepe, which translates as Uncle Joe and is named after the founders’ uncle, we used iconic wide brimmed red hats that feature in the Tio Pepe guitar player logo. The logo symbolises the Andalusian origins of the brand.
The role of oak in the Beronia is very important and much has been invested in how the wines, once in the barrel, react to different levels of toasting and types of wood. So it was important to emphasize this in the design of the showcase and the matching Beronia branded tables.
For The London No1, we created a showcase with a large lightbox to accentuate the striking turquoise-blue colour of the gin, that derives from the maceration of gardenia flowers. Three plinths glorify the product and create bottle standout.
The bar provides a showcase for the portfolio of drinks within the Gonzalez Byass Group.
