Clients doing their bit to make a difference during the Covid pandemic
It’s been inspirational and affirming to see how some of our clients have been making a difference during the Covid pandemic.
Beauty giant Coty turned to the production of a hydro-alcohol hand sanitiser gel that is being distributed free-of-charge to emergency and medical services staff facing shortages. Hand sanitiser is also being distributed to Coty employees working in its production sites and distribution centres and also to its retail partners.
Premium chocolatier Godiva has been donating chocolates, coffee and other treats to hospital workers, doctors, nurses and care workers around the world to express gratitude.
Whyte & Mackay answered the Scottish governments call for companies to help in any way possible to fight Covid-19. They supplied de-natured alcohol to chemical firms making hand sanitiser. And Edrington, the owner of brands such as The Macallan, The Famous Grouse and Highland Park, has committed 1% of its annual earnings to support various COVID-19 relief programmes this year. This is part of its ‘Spirit of Giving’ CSR programme and gives employees access to funds in order to support relief efforts within their local communities.
Our smaller clients have also been doing their bit to help out at this challenging time.
